Vadym Rabinovych wants to draw attention to the citizenship of officials from supervisory boards and their salaries

The Member of Ukrainian Parliament, co-chair of the “OPPOSITION PLATFORM - FOR LIFE” political party Vadym Rabinovych introduces a proposal to the Verkhovna Rada at the legislative level to consolidate the mandatory stay of Ukrainian citizenship of members of supervisory boards of state-owned companies and establish a limited maximum remuneration for members of these councils.

“The purpose of the draft law is to improve legislation on the formation of the composition of the supervisory boards of business entities in the public sector of the economy by establishing the compulsory stay of Ukrainian citizenship of members of the supervisory boards and limiting the maximum amount of remuneration for members of these supervisory councils,” the explanatory note to the draft law says.

Vadym Rabinovych is confident that the adoption of the draft law he proposed “will allow to realize the goal of creating supervisory boards at enterprises of the public sector of the economy as an instrument of independent control over the efficient and rational use of property of state enterprises, which will help save funds from the state budget of Ukraine and state companies.”
