Ukraine should cancel the lockdown, raise the economy and fight the epidemic, while it’s time to announce lockdown to the incompetent Ze-government
The Ukrainian government hid from responsibility to citizens for the fight against the epidemic and for the situation in the country. Instead of solving the accumulated problems from the first days of the year, it simply decided to extend its Christmas holidays by introducing another lockdown in Ukraine.
In the ten months since the outbreak of the pandemic, the Ze-team has been unable to strengthen the health system, help doctors and equip hospitals with the necessary equipment. Tens of billions of hryvnias from the budgetary Fund for Combating COVID-19 were rolled into the asphalt of fake ‘big construction projects’ and distributed to security officers and officials. Until now, there are not enough places in hospitals and free tests, many Ukrainians are forced to pay high, commercial prices in order to at least find out about their state of health. Prospects for purchasing, transporting and storing Western vaccines remain dim. At the same time, the government, for political reasons, stubbornly blocks the production and even testing of Russian medicines in Ukraine.
There is still no peace in Ukraine. The armed conflict continues in Donbas, which the Ze-government promised, but refused to resolve. A critical situation is taking shape in the country’s economy. At the end of the year, Ukrainian GDP and social standards continue to fall. De-industrialization is in full swing. Agriculture is falling; the transport industry is facing crisis. High unemployment is persisting; millions of Ukrainian families are surviving on the brink of poverty. However, the government and the parliamentary majority still have neither a strategy, nor a program, nor a plan to help the economy. They simply inflate utility rates for the population, put pressure on entrepreneurs, distribute budget money to financial speculators, officials, security officers and wait for new instructions from the IMF and foreign creditors.
The OPPOSITION PLATFORM - FOR LIFE party demands that the Ze-team gets out of the invented vacation, comes back from hot countries, ski resorts, where one day of rest costs more than the average pension in Ukraine. It is necessary to summon the parliament and urgently make changes to the anti-people budget adopted ‘under the Christmas tree’. Help people, raise salaries and pensions, increase funding for healthcare, support the domestic economy and Ukrainian regions. Work or leave. Leave room for those who will bring peace to the country, end poverty, and develop the economy.
