Indicators of electoral support for “Opposition Platform - For Life” and “Servant of the People” have become almost equal
In the electoral support rating, the gap between “Opposition Platform - For Life” and “Servant of the People” has reduced to 1 per cent and is less than the statistical error, according to the results of a poll among Ukrainians, conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
If at the time of the poll the parliamentary elections were held, 5 parties would get to the Verkhovna Rada. Most of the respondents would support the parties “Servant of the People” (18.3% among voters who decided on their choice) and “Opposition Platform - For Life” (17%). “Batkivshchyna”, “European Solidarity” and “Syla i Chest” would also overcome the electoral threshold. According to the KIIS data, as compared to July 2021, the “Servant of the People” rating has decreased from 20.2% to 18.3%.
The vast majority of Ukrainians surveyed (71.1%) believe that that the country is developing in the wrong direction. The activities of President Volodymyr Zelensky are not being supported by 56.9%. A significant part of the respondents endorses holding of early presidential (43.4%) and parliamentary elections (47.3%).
The poll was conducted by KIIS on October 20-25, 2021. 2028 respondents were interviewed by the method of personal interview. The sample represents the adult population of Ukraine. In Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the survey was conducted in the controlled territory. The statistical error does not exceed 3.3%.
