Opposition Platform - For Life and Yurii Boyko are headliners of electoral support
The OPPOSITION PLATFORM - FOR LIFE party has the largest support among the Ukrainian political forces, and Yurii Boyko, co-chair of the party, confidently ranks second in the presidential rating, only a few percent behind Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as illustrated by the results of the survey of the population of Ukraine conducted by the Ukrainian Sociological Group.
If at the time of the poll elections to the Verkhovna Rada were held, then 23.8% of respondents would vote for Opposition Platform - For Life (among those who would definitely vote and made their choice).
In second place is the Servant of the People with the support level of 21.9%. It is followed by European Solidarity (15.6%) and Batkivshchyna (8.2%).
The Ukrainian Strategy of Groysman (4.8%), Strength and Honor (4.5%), Freedom (3.5%) and Party of Sharii (3,1 %) parties are likely to pass the entry barrier. Other parties have less than 3% of supporters (in each case).
The OPPOSITION PLATFORM - FOR LIFE party has the most potential supporters. In the event of parliamentary elections, a third of the respondents (32.3%) allow for the possibility of voting for Opposition Platform - For Life. Thus, Opposition Platform - For Life has a significant resource to increase the level of support and consolidate its leadership in the electoral rating.
If presidential elections took place at the time of the poll, then Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Yurii Boyko would receive the greatest support. Their ratings are almost equal. Yurii Boyko, the co-chair of the Opposition Platform - For Life party, takes the second place with a score of 22.3%. 26.2% of respondents intend to vote for Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Petro Poroshenko ranks third (14.6%).
The survey was conducted from December 16 to December 23, 2020. In total 1205 respondents aged 18 and above were interviewed. The sample represents the adult population of Ukraine (controlled territories) according to the main socio-demographic characteristics: gender, age, type of settlement and region of residence. The method of the survey is an individual face-to-face (home) interview. The statistical error does not exceed 3.0%.
