On September 24, a regular meeting of one of the key bodies of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the Bureau, took place to approve a motion authored by a member of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE MP Oleg Voloshyn, “OPPOSITION PLATFORM - FOR LIFE”, on a report with the subsequent adoption of a resolution on “The challenge of far-right ideology to democracy and human rights in Europe”. MP Yuliya Lovochkina, a member of the delegation of Ukraine to PACE, also actively participated in drafting the motion. The President of the Assembly, twenty Vice-Presidents, the Chairpersons of the political groups as well as the Chairpersons of the general PACE Committees make up the Bureau of the Assembly.
Lovochkin: If Current Economic Policy Remains, GDP Growth Plans for 2022 Will Be Unachievable

The restoration of economic growth in Ukraine is unsatisfactory: according to recent data by the State Statistics Service, in the 2nd quarter of this year, the real GDP increased by mere 5.7 percent compared to the 2nd quarter of 2020, even though the Q2 2020 GDP had fell by 11.4 percent compared to the same period in 2019. Given the above, MP Serhiy Lovochkin sent an inquiry to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and called for measures aimed at accelerating economic growth, especially during the finalization of the draft bill of the state budget-2022 by the Cabinet.
